Public Sector Collective Labor Law and Labor Relations

Our studies of the U.S.'s public sector will highlight the policy, political, labor relations, and legal perspectives of Professors Harry Katz and Lee Adler, who will jointly teach this class. Although we will offer a national perspective of the sector, much of our focus will be on New York state and NYC. Policy monographs, journal articles, book chapters, and legal cases will be our primary readings.


Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: ILRLR 5000 and ILRLR 5010 or permission of instructor.
