ARCH 1300
An Introduction to Architecture: Lectures

Course information provided by the 2023-2024 Catalog.

Survey course that covers the many facets of architecture: history, design principles, preservations, landscape architecture, building technology, and cultural factors. Course format comprises lectures, demonstrations, films, and field trips. Evaluation is based on quizzes and a final exam.


Permission Note Enrollment limited to: non-B.Arch. students, high school students in 11th and 12th grades, and anyone with minimum of a high school diploma interested in exploring the field of architecture.
