Students will learn how wildlife populations are regulated by their environment, and how such populations are managed and assessed. Various habitat preservation strategies will be presented and discussed, as well as ex situ strategies for critically endangered species. One goal of the course is to introduce students to the many career paths available to them that are related to wildlife conservation.
