This course is intended for students interested in providing care to horses upon graduation (equine or mixed practice). Relevant equine medicine topics will be covered including equine cardiology, antimicrobial use and other. This class has 2h each week for 4-weeks.Intended for students anticipating equine practice. In-depth study of important diseases, review of recent literature, health management presented by private practitioners,demonstrations on complementary medicine, and talks on specialty equine practice are the core of this course.
