Course Description
Course information provided by the 2022-2023 Catalog.
Familiarizes students with antimicrobial drugs used in veterinary practice. Builds on fundamental pharmacological and microbiological principles covered in VTMED 5300 and VTMED 5400 and considers antibacterial, antifungal, antiprotozoal, and antiviral drugs from the point of view of unique pharmacokinetic properties, indications for clinical use, and potential toxicities as the basis for rational use.
