Course Description
Course information provided by the 2022-2023 Catalog.
This course covers capital budgeting, firm valuation, capital structure and payout policies by focusing on real-life problems faced by the hospitality industry. We will (1) evaluate projects; (2) analyze financial statements and develop pro-formas; (3) understand how investment and financing decisions impact firm value; (4) develop complex spreadsheet models.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: HADM 2250, HADM 2220, AEM 2240, or AEM 2241.
Permission Note Enrollment limited to: undergraduate juniors and seniors.
When Offered Spring.
Satisfies Requirement Satisfies HADM or free electives for NSHA students.
Comments Graduate students should enroll in HADM 6235.
