Topics in Mixed Reality

Course information provided by the 2022-2023 Catalog.

This course covers the field of 3D User Interfaces (3D UIs) for virtual and augmented reality. Lecture activities will focus on 3D interaction techniques for selection, manipulation, travel, and system control. Additional topics include input devices, remote collaboration, and evaluation methods for 3D UIs. Student deliverables include programming assignments, research paper reviews, and a research-oriented group project.


Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: CS 5650, INFO 5340, or permission from the instructor.
