Course Description
Course information provided by the 2021-2022 Catalog.
This course immerses students in the global leisure cruise industry—the economics, markets, and organizations that comprise the fastest-growing sector of the hospitality industry. The course features industry executives from a leading cruise company, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd., who describe current practice in cruise finance, pricing, ship design, marketing, distribution, operations, and human resources management. Students conduct individual and team analyses that examine opportunities and challenges across the cruise industry.
Permission Note Enrollment open to: SHA sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Others by permission of the instructor. Graduate students must enroll in HADM 6425.

The drop deadline is the 2nd day of classes, the add deadline is the 3rd day of classes. Students requesting to drop the course after the 2nd day of classes will receive a “W” on their transcript.”
