Investment in Real Estate Securities and Funds

This course focuses on equity investment in commercial real estate through indirect vehicles. The course builds on standard investment and corporate finance concepts. The high-level learning objectives are to familiarize students with indirect real estate investment and to introduce the analytical tools required to value the firms in that sector.


Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: HADM 4280 or HADM 6280 (which can be taken concurrently), or equivalent coursework and securities investment experience.

When Offered Fall, Spring.

Comments Elective. Enrollment limited to 50 students. Graduate students must enroll in HADM 6271.  Instructor has an early drop deadline: 2 weeks after the class begins.
