Course Description
Course information provided by the 2017-2018 Catalog.
A cross between downhill and cross country skiing, telemark involves a graceful free heel turn that can be a joy and a challenge to learn to perfect. The course starts with learning the proper weight distribution of the telemark stance on beginner terrain and progresses to linking tele turns all the way down the mountain. A low instructor to student ratio ensures individual attention and progression. The class is taught at Greek Peak, includes lift ticket, transportation to and from the slopes and telemark skiing equipment rental. If you have mastered downhill skiing and are looking for a new challenge this winter then this class is for you.
