ORIE 3120

Database and statistical techniques for data science, graphical display, and predictive analytics in the context of industrial and transportation systems. Database techniques include structured query language (SQL), procedural event-based programming (Visual Basic), and geographical information systems (GIS). Statistical techniques include multiple linear regression, classification, logistic regression, clustering, and time series forecasting. Industrial and transportation systems analysis includes factory scheduling and simulation, materials planning, and inventory planning.


Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: ENGRD 2700 (may be take concurrently).
