This course educates about urban theory from an economic point of view and develops tools for the analysis of real estate markets.  Areas examined include economic aspects of urbanization processes and policies, determinants of urban growth and decline, urban land and real estate markets, urban transportation, and urban public services.  This course applies the latest economic thinking and research to the tasks of analyzing real estate market fundamentals, forecasting supply and demand, and choosing locations. Material in this course builds on the statistical tools covered in  HADM 6230.


Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: HADM 6230 or AEM 6120 or ECON 6190 or ILRLE 7410.
