Course Description
Course information provided by the 2016-2017 Catalog.
This course immerses students in the global leisure cruise industry. The course features industry executives who introduce students to cruise economics, ship design, operations, marketing, and human resources. Students will participate in exercises that examine current challenges across cruise operations, culminating in an onboard experience, team project, and presentation to senior management at the headquarters of a leading cruise company: Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd.
Permission Note Open to seniors, juniors and graduate students in SHA only. Others by permission of the instructor.
When Offered Spring (Weeks 8-14).
Satisfies Requirement Elective.
