DEA 2030

Course information provided by the 2016-2017 Catalog.

For designers, the ability to effectively convey a complex spatial/visual idea is as essential as developing that idea. The class introduces principles of visual communications and a range of representation techniques. It explores ways to communicate ideas digitally through text, form and color, while considering the meaning of form and its symbolic and cultural dimensions. The focus will be on a variety of contemporary representational applications, primarily Adobe Creative Suite.
