Course Description
Course information provided by the 2016-2017 Catalog.
Second semester of a two-part introductory course. Students learn the fundamental grammar and vocabulary of Classical Chinese and gain familiarity with more advanced sources for solving textual problems by analyzing and translating passages from early sources.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: CHLIT 2213 or permission of instructor. Students who have working knowledge of the Chinese script from another language (e.g. Japanese) may be able to take the course.
