Second semester of course sequence; NS 5410 Applied Human Anatomy and Physiology I.
Permission Note Enrollment limited to: students in the DNS post-baccalaureate program.
Outcomes
- Develop perceptiveness and cognitive recognition of patients' signs and symptoms in order to differentiate critical from non-critical states.
- Understand the relationship between the structure and function of various organ systems.
- Be able to connect patients' signs and symptoms with pathophysiological deviations from the normal state.
- Improve your critical thinking skills necessary to evaluate, differentiate, and explain normal physiological/anatomical states from the abnormal.
- Develop effective oral and written communication skills that will enable you to be persuasive by employing logic, scientific evidence, and compassion.
When Offered Spring.
