The Psychology of Organizational Change

Course Description

This is a research seminar, designed to examine and analyze research of resistance to change. Our focus will be the psychology of organizational change, examining research on change from the perspective of the change recipient. We will consider a variety of change-related factors, including personality, change management processes, the change context, and change recipients' perceived benefit/harm. The emphasis in the seminar will be on understanding and developing theoretical formulations of responses to change and on the design of research on these responses.
