HADM 4770

Course information provided by the 2015-2016 Catalog.

Focuses on organizational systems, planning, and the decision process and how information is used for decision support in organizations. Students are provided with practical skills in developing spreadsheet computer models using Microsoft Excel. Topics include business planning and forecasting, numerical methods, advanced formulas and functions, user-interface design, data protection and validation, importing external data, and output presentation.


Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: HADM 1740.

Permission Note Enrollment preference given to: M.M.H. students and seniors.

When Offered Fall, spring (weeks 1-7 fall; weeks 1-7 and 8-14 spring).

Comments Note: Deadline to drop course is end of first week. Due to capacity constraints in the Binenkorb Lab, attendance at the first class is mandatory; no-show students are dropped to make room for stand-by students.
