This course will provide early preparation for engineering communication tasks and deliverables, reflecting the needs of mechanical and aeronautic engineering (MAE. Course content will cover how to effectively and strategically deploy written work, presentations, technical visuals, and other applicable genres that are useful for MAE work and beyond. Students will be introduced to the concepts and application of how engineering thought, innovation, and design are communicated to various stakeholder audiences. 


Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: one First-Year Writing Seminar or equivalent. Corequisite: MAE 2250.
