Students perfect their pronunciation in Spanish through the formal study of Spanish phonetics and their ability to communicate orally in Spanish, by developing pragmatic competence and discussion skills through the use of functions in different conversational situations. This course has a service-learning component in which students spend 20 hours working and interacting with Spanish native speakers throughout the semester.


Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: SPAN 2190 or CASE Q++.
