Outcomes

  • Develop perceptiveness and cognitive recognition of patients' signs and symptoms in order to differentiate critical from non-critical states.
  • Understand the relationship between the structure and function of various organ systems.
  • Be able to connect patients' signs and symptoms with pathophysiological deviations from the normal state.
  • Improve your critical thinking skills necessary to evaluate, differentiate, and explain normal physiological/anatomical states from the abnormal.
  • Develop effective oral and written communication skills that will enable you to be persuasive by employing logic, scientific evidence, and compassion.
