Interactions of electrons, holes, phonons, photons and spin in semiconductors and other materials used in devices. Charge, heat and spin transport, direct and indirect recombination and emission processes, deep levels and interface effects, and their behavior in bulk and at nanoscale.


Permission Note Prerequisite: knowledge of introductory quantum mechanics expected.
