Develop a Reflective Learning Assistant

Learning Assistants (LAs) aid in facilitating the learning process for small groups of first-year students enrolled in BIOG 1111: Paths to Success in the Biological Sciences Major. LAs work closely with instructors to help students engage with and understand the material being taught. Through training, weekly pre-class reflections, and small group work in the classroom, LAs communicate complex ideas, manage group dynamics, and provide constructive feedback on student assignments.
