Examination of the often hidden values and assumptions that underlie the contemporary U.S. systems of employment law, work and business, and industrial relations. Classroom discussions and student research projects use short stories, plays, poems and related materials to focus on issues such as discrimination; law, economics, and the state; work and business; power, conflict, and protest; and rights and justice.
