Course Description
Course information provided by the 2019-2020 Catalog.
In this weekly seminar, students are guided through the process of completing an honors thesis in human development. The course focuses on developing students' writing abilities, reviewing statistics and how to present research findings in a manuscript, and receiving feedback on drafts of their thesis, as well as practice presenting the results of their thesis in poster and oral presentations.
Permission Note Requirement for and limited to: seniors in HD honors program.
Outcomes
- The goal of the honors program is to help students develop their honors thesis throughout the course of the year. Students learn to develop their writing and learn to communicate clearly about their thesis in both writing and in oral presentations.
