This is a discussion-based experiential course focusing on common components of career planning and professional development. Students will identify their strengths/skills/values, and learn how to articulate these and relevant experiences in professional settings. Students will also learn the basics of a full-cycle job search, from resume/cover letter crafting to negotiating an offer. Networking strategy and professional etiquette in everyday situations will also be covered.
