Course Description
Course information provided by the 2018-2019 Catalog.
The seminar will explore the works of Stravinsky from the early Russian period to his last compositions. Discussion will focus mainly on analysis of his works, and we will look at writings by Boulez, Straus, Taruskin, van den Toorn, etc. We will also examine Stravinsky's influence on other 20th century composers.
