ILRLR 4055

ILRLR 4055

Course information provided by the 2017-2018 Catalog.

This course focuses on public and private health insurance and pension plans in the United States (with some additional attention to other employee benefits). We examine these issues in 1) a policy context, since health insurance and pension benefits are hotly contested topics in the public policy arena, and 2) a collective bargaining context, since bargaining over employee benefits present sharp challenges to employer and union negotiators.

When Offered Fall (seven-week session).
