Team-taught survey course in reproductive physiology/endocrinology. Lectures on male reproductive function, female reproductive function, fertilization and gamete transport, pregnancy, parturition, lactation, aging, reproductive technology.


Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: undergraduate degree in biology and strong interest in reproductive biology.

Permission Note Enrollment limited to: 20 students.

Outcomes

  • Students will gain a broad working knowledge of the basics of male and female reproduction in terms of structure, function, and regulation.
  • Students will gain an ability to apply that knowledge to the student's own research.
