C.W. (Cho Whang) TaeKwonDo of Ithaca conducts the course. The purpose of the program is to teach TaeKwonDo in its diverse aspects as a form of self-defense, as an art form, and as a competitive sport. Classes will consist of extensive stretching, the teaching of basics to beginners, forms of self-defense, and sparring techniques. TaeKwonDo emphasizes the use of the whole body, enhances flexibility and coordination, increases aerobic capability. Promotional tests are held at the end of each semester.
