Course Description
Course information provided by the 2016-2017 Catalog.
This interactive course is designed to guide students in understanding their approaches to learning, and how to work on these approaches in order to maximize their success in health-related academic courses.
Permission Note Enrollment limited to: students in the DNS post-baccalaureate program. If offered in summer, the course is then open to rising juniors and seniors.
Outcomes
- Develop effective written communication skills that will enable a clear, strong and self-reflective personal statement to be written.
- Develop effective oral communication skills that will enable a confident and self-assured interviewing demeanor.
- Construct and evaluate effective approaches in leadership, team-building and conflict resolution.
