This completely revised course will critically examine the legal and societal forces that are styming young job seekers by use of non-disclosure agreements, trade secrets, and wage-fixing, recreating the  notion of what is work, its "Uberization", compelling us to revisit the question of, "Who is an employee", and "How did transgender folks gain those rights at work"!  Our legal and political study throughout will be mindful of "poor folks at work", and, overall, we as a class may be surprised by who has what expanse of legal employment rights.


Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisites: ILRLR 2010, ILRLR 5010, or permission of instructor.
