Course Description

The central goal of this class is to examine the social brain throughout the course of development, from infancy through late adulthood. The focus will be on the neural and social foundations of emotions, cognitions, behaviors, and physiology, as well as how the brain adapts to shifting social contexts throughout the lifespan.
