Course Description
Course information provided by the 2016-2017 Catalog.
Addresses real-world problems in plant pathology and entomology through the application of research. Students tour fields of diverse fruit and vegetable field crops, a nursery, forests, and a golf course that have been impacted by diseases and arthropod pests. Strategies for managing diseases and pests based on research and the interface between Research and Extension are emphasized.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: PLPPM 3010 and permission of instructor.
When Offered Fall (eight-week session).
Comments Free transportation available.
