This course brings students to the frontier of computer networking research with a focus on network optimization and management such as traffic engineering. The course covers both classic papers about the Internet protocols and recent research opportunities that come with the emergence of software defined networks.


Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: ECE 4450 and ECE 4800 or permission of instructor.
