Course information provided by the 2015-2016 Catalog.

This second class in an intensive two-course sequence brings together practice and theory to explore the intersection of the arts, cinema, and anthropology. Students will work with footage shot previously during the spring term and summer break and bring this work through the multiple phases of post-production – editing, group critique, sound mixing, structure, titling – to complete a final project.  Students will consider further works of visual anthropology, avant-garde cinema, and contemporary art under the rubric of sensory ethnography.

Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: PMA 4435.
