We will read a selection of Latin prose drawn from the Classics graduate reading list, accompanied by intensive grammar review and sight reading practice, with the goal of developing broad proficiency in reading Latin prose. Each student will work with me on developing exercises to teach selections of prose to the rest of the class. Grading will be on the basis of participation, weekly quizzes, and student-developed teaching exercises.


Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: one semester of 3000-level Latin or permission of the instructor.
