Planes, Trains, and Labor Relations: Law and Policy Under the Railway Labor Act

Examines labor relations law, policy and practice in the railroad and airline industries under the Railway Labor Act and the National Mediation Board (NMB). Covers key historical developments and current challenges facing labor and management, with particular attention to union organizing, collective bargaining, labor implications of corporate mergers, and related public policy issues.
