What is Pan-Africanism, what idea of 'Africa' in implied in it across Africa and the Diaspora beyond? What kind of moral project is it? What kinds and forms of politics have flown from it from the times of anti-colonialism to the postcolonial era? These questions are central to this course dedicated to a central rallying idea of the African Diaspora throughout the modern idea; an idea also indispensable to African modernity according to its proponents.
