Course Description

This course is a survey of Vietnamese history from earliest times to the present. Major themes of study are geography, aesthetics, culture, religion, ideology, language, literature, society, government, warfare, politics, international relations, colonialism, revolution, modernity, and globalization. Students will have an opportunity to develop projects on topics of interest to them.
