Agricultural Application of Plant Health Concepts

Course information provided by the 2014-2015 Catalog.

Addresses real-world problems in plant pathology and entomology through the application of research. Students tour fields of diverse fruit and vegetable field crops, a nursery, forests, and a golf course that have been impacted by diseases and arthropod pests. Strategies for managing diseases and pests based on research and the interface between Research and Extension are emphasized. 


Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: PLPA 3010 and permission of instructor.
